Sorry singing sensation Justin Bieber surprised his Instagram followers with a throwback picture of him and ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez on Sunday. The picture shows a much younger, shirtless Bieber locking lips with Gomez, who is donning a reddish orange bikini top, at a beautiful beach. The singer simply captioned the image as "feels."

Aficionados of Bieber and Gomez (known together as "Jelena") have been raving about the post. Many seem to think that the couple is about to get back together, although "Beliebers" are aware of the growing romance sparking between their idol and Ralph Lauren Hailey Baldwin.

Gomez, 22, on the other hand, made it clear last month that she is done with anything related to Bieber and no longer wants to talk about him. 

In contrast to many, some Jelena fans have stated that the post might not mean reconciliation at all, and that Bieber is either just feeling sentimental about his past with Gomez.

Bieber and Gomez started dating in December 2010 and went their separate ways in early 2013. The reason for their break up has been kept a secret, although rumors abound that  Disney baby's parents disapproved of the relationship.

Although the two have long broken up, Bieber has remained hopeful of a possible reunion with his ex-girlfriend. In an interview at the Ellen Degeneres late last year, the singer said that he and Gomez have so much history together and that working with her in the future is always possible.

He added that they are still in the process of finding themselves away from each other's arms and that once they do, they could possibly make an "awesome duo."
