Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi Inc. is known for producing a wide range of smart devices such as smartphones, smart TVs, smart scales, air purifiers and wireless Bluetooth speakers, among many other things.
Last year in October, Xiaomi launched its latest smart TV called the Xiaomi Mi TV (3rd gen), which comes with a price tag of around US$786. It looks like the company is not done yet, as it prepares to unveil new TV models on Mar. 23, according to the latest teaser. The new smart TVs recently got certified by China's 3C Quality Control. According to their website, there will be a 65-inch model and a 43-inch model. Reports suggest that the 65-inch model could be the new Curved Mi TV, while the 43-inch one could be the new successor to the previous 40-inch variant.
Specs-wise, the upcoming Curved Mi TV is rumored to feature Samsung's 4K ultra-thin panel, a powerful processor under its hood, along with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. As for the price, it's unclear how much Xiaomi's new Mi TVs will cost, however, they're certainly will come with very competitive price tags.
In the meantime, Xiaomi recently launched its latest Mi Box 3 Enhanced Edition in the Chinese market for a price of around US$61. The Mi Box 3 Enhanced Edition features a MediaTek MT8693 hexa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of eMMC 5.0 flash. Other specs include support for 4K video at 60Hz, USB 2.0 port connector, HDMI 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac connectivity.
