While fans of "NCIS" season 13 have been excited to know if Cote de Pablo is finally returning as Ziva David before Michael Weatherly's exit, Gary Glasberg just made some revelations.

In an interview with TV Guide, the executive producer made a promise.

"I promise you that everything you're fishing for will be delivered in some form," he said.

Does it mean that the comeback of Cote de Pablo as special agent Ziva David in "NCIS" season 13 is finally happening? It can be noted that it has been the clamor from fans.

In the meantime, Glasberg shared that surprises abound during the run of the current season.

"Everything that people want and think should be a part of these episodes, on-screen and off-, whether it's just story or background leading up to stuff ... everything will be touched upon, and the whole writing staff is really putting some time and effort into it," he dished.

He further continued by saying, "People can absolutely plan on lots of surprises and lots of emotion, and lots of twists and turns, ultimately leading us toward Tony's departure."

Having heard of such hints from the executive producer relative to Cote de Pablo's possible re-appearance as Ziva in "NCIS" season 13, the site speculated that it could be in the form of a flashback.

It can be recalled that back in January, it was announced that Michael Weatherly, who plays Ziva's love interest Tony DiNozzo, is already leaving the show, as reported by TV Line.

"After 13 years on NCIS, Michael Weatherly is leaving the show at the end of this season," a statement from CBS then read.
