While these Lego minifigures were inspired by classic Disney characters as well as new generation heroes like Little Mermaid, Mickey Mouse and Mr. Incredible, fans noticed that the set did not include some notable Disney princesses.

At the moment, neither Lego nor Disney has released any statement regards to the possibility of including Disney princesses in a second project.

Meanwhile, the 18-character minifigure set will be available in stores on May 1 and will be sold for $4 each figure, Lego confirmed via a Twitter announcement.

This is not the first time that Disney and Lego are collaborating. In 2015, the Disney princess collection was one of their most patronized products in the market. Elsa's famous Ice Castle sold the most number in the same year.

Following the release of the Lego Movie in 2014, the company experienced a drastic increase in its revenue in the following year.

The Danish company's Star Wars and Ninjago collection were the most demanded figures in 2015 and played a huge part on their success. Furthermore, Lego reported that 72 billion bricks were sold to 100 million kids last year.
