Ron Ng Needed to Work on His People Skills

Hong Kong actor Ron Ng, who recently played a lead role in the hit TVB drama 'Black Heart White Soul', claims that he needs to improve on his interpersonal skills.

On a recent interview, Ron Ng said he needed to improve on his people skills since he wasn't really adept to mingling and socializing with people despite working in an industry that needed just that kind of know-how.

According to previous reports, Ron Ng had been rather cold towards his popularity after starring in the 2003 TVB drama 'Triumph in the Skies' which boosted his career. Since then, he had been rained on with negative media reports, mostly about his attitude towards people, deeming him arrogant.

The actor cleared the issue, explaining that he always appeared sulky although he wasn't really going through any emotional stresses. He said that he didn't know how to express himself in public and surmised that it was probably how the negative reports came about.

According to the 'Black Heart White Soul' cast member, after he starred in 'Triumph in the Skies', he was subjected under numerous interviews which he had been very worried about.

He has shared that if he wanted to continue being in the showbiz industry, he had to learn how to socialize with people more and stated that he had worked a lot to improve on it.

The actor just can't seem to avoid rumors. He had gone through some dating scandals as well. Speculations say that the rumors were probably brought about by his frank personality. He says that he was never a tactful and careful person to begin with and he had the tendency to speak his mind.

However, these traits the actor possessed were able to help him in his career as well and not everything was cast in a negative light.

Rong Ng stated that he had experienced being a rookie actor as well and had to endure inequality in the workplace. He says that he doesn't regret his course of actions in the past.

"If you don't like me, that's fine, but I wouldn't distort my personality to suit others. I don't flatter," he says.

However, the actor says that he had learned how to properly deal with people and that his job in the industry is to entertain the audience.
