"Powerpuff Girls" fans not only have a reboot to rejoice over, but also the newly launched "Powerpuff Yourself," a game which allows anyone to create their own Powerpuff avatars, GIFs, and wallpapers.

Discussing how they came up with "Powerpuff Yourself" is Senior VP of Marketing for Cartoon Network, Jill King.

She said that what they wanted was to "give kids the opportunities to remix the Powerpuff Girls in their own ways." She added that the team put in a lot of time and effort into creating tons of options.

Avatars are available in a range of eye colors, hairstyles, facial hair, skin colors and even glasses. Aside from that, the new "Powerpuff Yourself" also contains Cartoon Network Easter Eggs like Finn's hat from "Adventure Time" and "The Bare Bears."

The "Powerpuff Girls" reboot bears an outstanding similarity to the original animated series, though some of the voice actors have been replaced. The good thing about the reboot, based on the short clip released, is that it stayed true to the original version and seemed to still contain the girl power spirit, which was apparent on the show.

It has been more than 10 years since the "Powerpuff Girls" show flew out of television. For those who would like to get a kick of nostalgia o introduce the show to their siblings or kids, all six seasons of the first show are currently on Netflix.

The "Powerpuff Girls" reboot is set to premiere on April 4, 2016 in the United States followed by premieres in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. The show is produced by Cartoon Network Studios with Bob Boyle and Nick Jennings on board as executive producers.
