The broadcasting company KBS recently announced that there will be one full extra week of special episodes of the show "Descendants of the Sun," after the finale of the show.

KBS's hit series "Descendants of the Sun" will air its 13th episode on April 6, with two more episodes to go, before the finale. Much to the delight of the fans, show's production house will now be releasing special episodes of the show.

The company KBS issued a statement that the drama series is all set to air its final episode on April 14. After the finale, in the following week, special episodes will be aired for three days. This will be done from April 20 to April 22.

The first two episodes, which will be aired in this series of "Descendants of the Sun" will be 70 minutes long each. They are expected to contain the highlight reels. The third and final special episode is expected to contain the behind the scenes footage, and also the epilogue of the show.

These episodes are expected to touch a chord with the users, as they will showcase the behind-the-scenes footage of the popular show. Meanwhile, fans are also hoping that the series will be renewed for another season, but it seems unlikely. This show was the comeback project of the noted actor Song Joong-ki, who came back into the entertainment industry after a gap of two years.

After these three episodes are aired on KBS, a new Wednesday-Thursday drama will begin its run on the channel. It is called "Master: God of Noodles," and it will premiere on April 27.
