Apple iOS users may soon be able to remove stock apps hidden in folders that they do not use from their devices.
Apple is said to have secretly added new codes into the iTunes metadata which can be used to uncover hidden apps. Each of them in the App Store has codes such as "isFirstPartyHideableApp" and "isFirstParty."

These keys or codes could be useful in permanently hiding default Apple apps such as Stocks, Voice Memos, Compass and more. At the moment, the commands in the photo from AppAdvice are encoded in "false." however, since it is in boolean value, other apps can not be supported.
Meanwhile, Apple's CEO Tim Cook informed Buzzfeed that, "There are some apps that are linked to something else on the iPhone."
"If they were to be removed they might cause issues elsewhere on the phone. There are other apps that aren't like that," Cook added.
Many thought that there is a possibility that the codes could be changed to remove stock apps similar to Apple Configurator 2.2 functionality, which was released for education and the business industry earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Apple users were speculating that the company may announce the changes during the Worldwide Developers Conference in June where they will launch the iOS 10 beta version. Along with the new software update, a new feature called smart money is expected to also be introduced.
There are reports that the finalized iOS 10 will be available in September. If so, Apple users may have to wait to see if the codes could be changed to remove stock apps from their devices.
