PlayStation 4 Version 3.50 Update Now Available; New Features Detailed

Sony has announced that PlayStation 4 version 3.50 system update is now available.
The new version allows remote play capabilities to Mac and PC, thus, making it compatible to operating system such as Windows 10 and 8.1, Apple's OS X 10.10 and 10.11. Also, players will have the ability to choose their preferred resolution from 720p, 540p, 360p or 60fps and 30.

The company has also made the user interface easier for the players. In the PlayStation 4 version 3.50 update, an "Online Status" option has been added on the Profile tab, where the users can change their status to 'Appear Offline' when playing or watching a movie.
Users can choose to stay offline at a specific time or when they log-in under the Profile page, or by pressing the PS button using the DualShock 4 as a shortcut to the Quick Menu.
In addition to the new features, gamers can now stream in DailyMotion, check their PSN status through the menus, share their friends' posts to their feed and make Teen Accounts that functions even in offline mode.
Gamers who like to be in control can select whether to get notified when their friends are online. To activate, just choose a player from the friends list and on the "Options" opt for "Notify When Online."
Furthermore, Players have the ability to create their own event under the Events tab if they wish to play with their friends. Gamers can choose the type of game, time and date on when it will start. Once the game begins, all players will automatically be in one Party.
The PlayStation 4 version 3.50 system update also allows members of a certain Party to see what other members are playing and gives them the opportunity to join or start a new one together.
Aside from the big updates, the company also reported that more features were enhanced and revised for the general software system functionalities.
