The widely anticipated 2016 HTC flagship handset the One M10 (or One 10) appears to not only feature high quality cameras, but also an excellent audio system. The Taiwanese tech giant has confirmed that the HTC One M10 will be launched on April 12 at the '#Powerof10' online event. It also released a teaser video hinting about the upcoming smartphone's improved sound quality.

The HTC One 10 teaser video said that the smartphone will feature the highest quality sound possible, mentioning its BoomSound offer. On the HTC official Twitter account, it also says that the company is "obsessed with providing you with the best ever smartphone for shooting photos and videos." There are reports that the HTC 10 will be released on the second week of May in the U.S.

Several new leaked HTC One M10 photos also surfaced, displaying a metal design chassis in two colors, black and silver. There were rumors that the HTC 10 will also come in white and gold color options and chamfered edges for a better grip.

AnTuTu benchmark scores of the HTC 10 comes at 156,091, beating its rival flagship handsets, the Xiaomi Mi 5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 which scored 136,875 and 134,599, respectively.

The leaked pictures clearly show the back panels that have two horizontal lines at the top and bottom. There seems to be a plastic part where the 3.5 mm audio jack is located. There is also a speaker grille and USB Type-C port at the bottom. The HTC 10 could feature a round 12 MP camera with dual tone flash and autofocus on the back. Other features the device is expected to pack include a 5.2-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 32 GB of in-built storage and 4 GB of RAM.
