Xbox One backward compatible list added "Gunstar Heroes," a SEGA Genesis classic, to its growing roster. Meanwhile, an unexpected leak had rumor mills running as "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" was shown in the roll.
"Gunstar Heroes," which first saw action 25 years ago, will be enjoyed by future generations with the recent development. Techno Buffalo reported that with the game's inclusion in the compatible list, SEGA has become an example in preserving classic hits.

Apart from "Gunstar Heroes," another game recently included in the Xbox One compatible list is "Outland." The platform game features dark and white bullets, and allows players to flip their "character's nature to both solve puzzles and beat down high-powered bosses."
Meanwhile, the gaming world went overdrive after a leak showed that "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" will be included in the Xbox One backwards compatible list.
According to Attack of the Fan Boy, the leak was even posted several times on Reddit. However, when users click on the listing, an error pops on screen.
The same leak was posted by Twitter user @PlackBackOps3 on its account.

While "Modern Warfare 2" has since been removed from the list, it opened floodgates of speculations. Among those is the possibility that the game will indeed be part of the compatible list in the future.
It was noted by The Bitbag that "Call of Duty" entries are highly popular in polls that request for its inclusion in the Xbox One backward compatible list. Thus, it is only logical for fans to be excited about the leak.
At present, the original "Black Ops" is labelled as "In-Progress" for the backwards compatible list of Xbox One. The news site further implied that the error may be suggesting that Microsoft and Activision are working together to shock gamers "with a remastered version" of the "Call of Duty" titles in one offering.
