Daisy Lewellyn: 'Blood, Sweat & Heels' Star Dead At 36

(Photo : Getty Images) Daisy Lewellyn, star of Bravo's 'Blood, Sweat and Heels,' died on Friday after losing a battle with cancer. She was 36.

Daisy Lewellyn, known for starring in the Bravo reality show Blood, Sweat & Heels, has died at the age of 36.

The reality star revealed to lifestyle website Madame Noire last year that she had been diagnosed with stage-three bile duct cancer in 2014 which is a rare but aggressive form of cancer that affects the liver.

"I'm not afraid to go to heaven, but I would like to stay on Earth if I can," she said at the time. "If it's my time to go, then I can say that I had a great life."

Lewellyn featured in four episodes of Blood, Sweat & Heels, which follows the lives of career-focused women in New York City.

Before the show, she had a successful career as an editor for several well-known fashion magazines such as Essence, InStyle, and Glamour and also authored a book titled Never Pay Retail Again: Shop Smart, Spend Less, & Look Your Best Ever in 2010.

"We are devastated to learn that Daisy Lewellyn from Bravo's Blood, Sweat & Heels has passed away this morning after a battle with a rare form of cancer. Daisy passed on in peace and filled with joy, surrounded by her family and friends. We are all saddened to lose this wonderful woman. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy is expressed," the network said in a statement.

Lewllyn's Blood, Sweat & Heels co-star Melyssa Ford took to Instagram to pay tribute to the 36-year-old actress. Bravo producer and Watch What Happens: Live host Andy Cohen and reality stars such as Cynthia Bailey, Teresa Giudice and Holly Robinson-Peete also took to social media to pay their condolences to Lewellyn.
