Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has announced that its latest device called the P5L is now available in India for the price of Rs. 8,499 ($127.74). The Gionee P5L smartphone is currently on sale at the official Gionee store in India.

In terms of the specification of the device, the Gionee P5L smartphone features a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS On-Cell display screen. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad core MediaTek Processor coupled with 1GB of RAM on board. With regards to the graphics, the device comes with a Mali T-720 GPU inside, capable of handling smooth 3D mobile gaming.

The Gionee P5L smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash support coupled with a 5-megapixel front camera. The device comes with a built-in 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD Card.

The smartphone's connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, WLAN, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. What makes the device interesting is that it comes with a VoLTE support. The device is packed with a 2,300 mAh capacity battery, which offers 9 hours of talktime and 300 hours of standby time on 3G Network.

Gionee P5L smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system along with Amigo 3 user interface on top. The device also supports dual SIM CARD dual standby and It comes with several pre-installed apps such as the Gionee Xender, Child Mode, Facebook, Whatsapp, Battery Doctor, Snapdeal, 360 Security lite, WPS office, Hungama, Clean master, TouchPal 2015.
