FC Barcelona superstar Neymar has recently identified Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba as the player who he would like to join him in Camp Nou moving forward.

Caught Offside indicated that the Brazilian captain named Pogba "as the player he admires and who he'd like to have playing alongside him at the Nou Camp", explaining the qualities that he wants from the French international in an interview with the Spanish top flight's official website.

"I really like Pogba and his way of doing things. I'd like to swap shirts with him, but I'd also like to play with him. Here at Barcelona, he'd do very well," Neymar intimated.

The 23-year-old Lagny-sur-Marne, France native is one of the most successful footballers at his position in Europe, winning three straight Italian Serie A titles, one Italian Cup trophy in 2015, and 25 games with the French national team. He also helped lead Juve advance in last season's Champions League final, but the team was defeated by who else but Barça, 3-1.

The report noted that "Pogba is arguably more direct than the kind of midfielders" Luis Enrique normally utilizes, but he has the "technical quality and the passing ability to fit in to the Catalans' style" and become a key player in the Blaugrana's starting eleven.

Meanwhile, Pogba was reportedly "flattered" about Neymar's "come-and-join-me" plea, but "played down talks of a Juventus exit" in the summer, as reported by The Sun.

"It's great to hear that a star player appreciates my skills, but I am happy to remain at Juve. I'm focused on winning the Scudetto. Even though there is a lot of transfer talk, that is my focus. It's the only thing that crosses my mind," said Pogba after Juve's 2-1 win over Milan last Saturday, according to the report.

"We are nine points up on Napoli and the battle isn't over. We must continue to win," the Frenchman added.
