Samsung is reportedly gearing up to introduce a new phablet called the Galaxy Note 6. The device is being pegged to feature the most RAM among other phones should all details come into play.

The device will have a processor that has not even been formally introduced yet, Tech Radar said. It will sport a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor but the American multinational semiconductor company has yet to talk about the setup.

The Snapdragon 823 will accommodate up to 8GB of RAM.

The website added the Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 will likely have a 64-bit Kyro 2.6 GHZ quad-core processor coupled with an Adreno 530 GPU. However, the site advised that the information should be taken with caution given that its source is an unverified Weibo user.

Another report from Sam Mobile stated that the upcoming device may have an iris scanner too. While the account is yet to be verified, the phablet's business orientation makes it a good platform to have an eye-scanning software.

Another exciting feature, which the said site has confirmed, is water resistance. The device will come with an IP68 certified body that would allow it to withstand water submission at one and a half meters for half an hour.

Meanwhile, Mashable said that the device would possibly sport a large quad HD screen, which is about 5.8 inches. While the rumors of Samsung Galaxy Note 6 have intensified, the news site added that the device's possible launch date would be right before Apple hosts its iPhone event. This puts the timeline somewhere in the early part of September.
