Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee launched its latest device, the Pioneer P5 Mini smartphone in India for Rs 5,349 (USD $80.38).

The Pioneer P5 Mini smartphone was initially unveiled in Nigeria last month. Although the smartphone is classified as a mid-range device, Pioneer P5 Mini is quite impressive in terms of its specifications and features. The smartphone has a sleek and slim design with dimensions of 132.00 x 66.00 x 9.10 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 153.00 grams.

The new smartphone features a 4.5-inch WVGA (854 x 480) display screen. The handheld device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580M processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It comes with a built-in 8GB internal memory storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The handheld device runs the Amigo 3.1 user interface on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by 1850mAh capacity battery. The smartphone is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash capabilities and a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.

The phone also supports 3G dual-SIM slots (GSM and GSM) that accept two regular SIM. The connectivity options include GPS, Wi-Fi, FM, and Bluetooth. The sensors on the phone include Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

The Pioneer P5 Mini smartphone is now available in the Indian market at the company's official website for the price of Rs 5,349 (USD $80.38).
