HTC has officially unveiled its 2016 flagship smartphone called the HTC 10 (or HTC One M10). The release date, availability, and price of the device, which comes with impressive specs and features, was announced recently.

The HTC 10 sports a Super LCD 5.2-inch display with Quad HD resolution and 564 PPI pixel density. The HTC 10 comes with a Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. Some regions will have a lower-end version called the HTC 10 Lifestyle which is packed with a Snapdragon 652 and 3 GB of RAM. All variants have 32 GB or 64 GB storage options with up to 2 TB microSD card support.

The HTC 10 runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Sense 8 UI. It features a 12 MP UltraPixel rear camera and a 5 MP UltraPixel front snapper, which are both equipped with OIS (optical image stabilization). The rear camera has a dual-LED flash, laser autofocus and 4K resolution video capture.

The HTC One M10 also comes with a physical Home button with a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C slot and dual non-stereo BoomSound speakers. It houses a massive 3000 mAh battery capacity with fast charging support and is available in gray, gold, red and silver color options.

Pre-orders for the HTC 10 has already started in the U.S. for $699. The unlocked HTC 10 is set to be shipped in May with the UH OH Protection service, which covers any damage to the unit through water or breakage in the first year of purchase. Verizon will open pre-orders for the HTC 10 on April 29.
