Streaking teams Tianjin Teda FC (1-1-3, 6 points) and Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao FC (4-1-0, 12 points) are scheduled to meet in a 2016 Chinese Super League game this Sunday, April 24th at the Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium.
After their opening game loss to Guangzhou R&F last month, Tianjin Teda went on a four-game unbeaten stretch, although three of those games ended up in draws. With that, the team had ended up in the seventh spot of the league table, tied on points with three other clubs, namely Shanghai Shenhua, Chongqing Lifan, and Hangzhou Greentown.

Head coach Dragan Okuka's boys forced a 2-2 tie against Liaoning Whowin in their most recent CSL match last Saturday at the Shenyang Olympic Sports Center Stadium, via Soccerway.
Team captain Fredy Montero netted the opening goal of the match right at the 12th minute to give the Tigers the early lead.
Two goals from Liaoning before the halftime whistle, courtesy of imports James Chamanga and Ibrahima Touré at the 42nd and 45th+1 minutes respectively, gave the lead to the hosts at the break.
Tianjin then netted the equalizing goal at the 70th off a strike by local defender Cao Yang to extend their undefeated run to four games.
Meanwhile, five straight defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande had also been unbeaten in their last four outings although they strung fourth consecutive wins in the process.
Guangzhou's last game was a shaky 2-1 victory over a hard-fighting Henan Jianye side at their home ground of Tianhe Stadium on April 15th, as per Sofa Score.
Henan's Australian defender Ryan McGowan opened the scoring at the 18th minute to give the visitors the early one-point advantage. The Red Devils managed to keep the lead until the halftime break, but the Southern China Tigers answered with two goals in the second half to pull off the comeback win.
Brazilian midfielder Ricardo Goulart continued with his scoring streak by netting a goal at the 59th as well as local striker Gao Lin who scored his at the 66th.
The predicted result is another 2-1 win for Guangzhou Evergrande to extend their winning streak to five games.
Tianjin Teda starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Yang; Bai, Jovanovic, Junior, Nie; Zhou, Li; Hu, Wagner, Wang; Montero
Guangzhou Evergrande starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Zeng; Wang, Feng, Kim, Rong; Zheng, Huang; Goulart, Paulinho, Gao; Martinez
