Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are two of the biggest names in the music industry. However, Shelton said that he is quite intimated by his girlfriend with whom he did a duet for his new album.

Shelton talked about his relationship with Stefani where he hinted that he is still amazed that he is with her. He also shared just how much he admires Gavin Rossdale's former wife.

"I'm intimidated by Gwen all the time," Shelton told People. "Any time I take a step back and think, 'Wow, to me she's Gwen, but she's Gwen Stefani, you know what I mean?"

He added, "Whoa, I'm hanging out with literally the coolest girl in the world and I get to hang out with her. Just having a meal with her sometimes, it's like, 'Whoa, that's her sitting up there!'"

Shelton and Stefani co-wrote a song entitled 'Go Ahead and Break My Heart' that is part of his new album 'If I'm Honest.' The musical collaboration happened in October last year before they publicly confirmed that they are together.

The country singer admitted he and his girlfriend were quite hesitant about it in the beginning. They were worried about how others may think but they eventually came around.

He even professed his love for the song. The 39-year-old singer also admitted that it is very important to him and Stefani.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani worked together in 'The Voice' Season 9. Around the same time, his marriage to ex-wife Miranda Lambert was on the rocks and they eventually ended up in divorce.
