Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has finally decided to settle down.

The 50-year-old actor is likely to marry his alleged girlfriend Lulia Vantur by the end of 2016, according to Mumbai Mirror.

For some time now, there have been talks that the 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' actor is dating the Romanian model and Television celebrity.

"So the not-young and single superstar may well be married by the year's end. The forever bachelor has decided that nuff's nuff. We hear his current girlfriend, a foreigner, may soon end up being the most powerful woman in the film biz," a blind news item in Mumbai Mirror newspaper said. "Not an enviable spot we assure you, for it isn't her love that will make him pop a ring. Rather it's his ailing mum, who wants to see her baby boy well taken care of. Oh, the more things change," it added.

Khan and Vantur first met a couple of years ago during the shooting of the 'Bodyguard' movie. Since then, the Romanian beauty has been spotted with Salman at several family functions. There have been speculations about Khan's marriage since his acquittal in the 2002 hit-and-run case earlier this month. A Bombay High Court acquitted Khan of all charges in the crash that left two homeless people dead.

Khan, who has been linked with several actresses in the past including top actress Katrina Kaif, is currently busy shooting for his next film 'Sultan' in Punjab. The biopic on Haryana-based wrestler Sultan Ali Khan is scheduled to be released on Eid this year.
