Razer has recently posted job vacancies, which led to rumors saying that the company may venture in creating their own platform for smartphones.

Over the past years, Razer, which is a known brand for gaming accessories and other products, did not plan or showed interest in banking on manufacturing their line of smartphones; however,  with the recent job listing that they posted, it seems like the company may be investing in manufacturing smartphones. Speculations say that Razer is already brainstorming on how their new innovation will look like and how it will work, but those rumors seem to be preemptive since nothing has been confirmed by the company.

The strong speculations about this new venture of Razer started when their Chief Executive Officer Min-Liang Tan posted on his Twitter account a job vacancy for Product Developer (Mobile). According to Tan's intriguing tweet, Razer is in need of developers that are very knowledgeable in ARM systems as well as its components. In addition, it was mentioned that they need people who has wide familiarity to tablets, mobile devices and smartphones.

Furthermore, as stated on Razer's job posting, the company needs a Product developer who will be taking charge in the product's conceptualization procedure. This means that the company is showing interest in making their own line of smartphones, but it does not mean that the company will be releasing one in the near future.

If these rumors are true and will materialize in the future, Razer could possibly break the reign of either Samsung or Apple. A mobile device which is powered by Razer's gaming design and innovation could really mean a tough competition.

Currently, no further details are shared by Razer apart from the tweet that their CEO has posted.
