As expected, Team USA has remained undefeated in the FIBA World Cup with a 98-71 win over New Zealand on Tuesday.
It was an all-around good performance from USA as 6 players scored in double-figures, but Anthony Davis and Kenneth Faried were the standouts of the game, putting up a combined 36 points and 20 rebounds.

Faried, also known as the "Manimal", has been the biggest surprise for Team USA so far. He's known for his athleticism and consistent hustle, but he's also been exceptionally very efficient scoring the ball over the course of the tournament as well.
During today's win over New Zealand, Faried finished 7-of-9 from the field, which translates to a total of 21-of-26 and a shooting percentage of 81 percent so far in the tournament.
"I'm just playing out there," Faried said. "I'm just having fun. I'm just playing my game, having fun, enjoying life."
Despite the great performances from Davis and Faried, the biggest highlight of the day between USA and New Zealand actually came before the game even started.
Before tip-off, New Zealand performed the "Haka," which is a traditional ancestral war dance or challenge. New Zealand can be seen performing as one with intense movements while stamping their feet and shouting in a rhythmic manner.
USA showed respect by pausing their pre-game warm-ups and lining up to witness the spectacle.
Mark today's win down as the 57th win in a row for Team USA in international competition. The win-streak includes 39 wins in Olympic and FIBA tournaments, and another 18 in exhibition/friendly international games.
USA will be participating in two more games before the Round of 16 knockout stage of the FIBA World Cup begins. The first one will be against the Dominican Republic tomorrow (Wednesday), and the last game before the knockout stage will be on Thursday as USA goes up against Ukraine.
