Fox expressed her enthusiasm over playing the lead role in a possible female-led 'Indiana Jones' reboot after news of an upcoming 'Indiana Jones 5' was confirmed. The 29-year-old actress and model admitted that she is up to the challenge of taking on the role made famous by Harrison Ford in the 1980s.

"I've always wanted to do Tomb Raider, but it's been done--and very well... So I guess I'd go with Indiana Jones since I always loved how fun and free-spirited Indiana is... He's an adventurous rogue archeologist who barely escapes death chasing down treasures among the earth's most mysterious sites. What's not to love?" she said.

Fox, at some point, was rumored to play Lara Croft in a reboot of the 'Tomb Raider' cinematic series - a role first helmed by Angelina Jolie - but Swedish actress Alicia Vikander of 'The Danish Girl' fame is slated to play the new Lara Croft in the newly announced remake.

Meanwhile, Fox has also revealed that she is not as passionate about acting as she was once perceived to be. She said that she did not care whether she was hired for films only because of her looks since a career in Hollywood is fickle.

"...I'm not passionate about it... It is what it is. I don't care. I feel like if I was really hung up on critical acclaim or people's opinions then I would be more pressured, I would strive harder to disprove such a stereotype... But sometimes you just get pigeon-holed. I have fun most of the time making movies, and that's the main objective because it's just a job," Fox said.

Fox reached international stardom as Shia LaBeouf's leading lady in Michael Bay's 'Transformers' franchise. She went on to star in several other full-feature films including 'Jennifer's Body,' 'Jonah Hex,' 'Friends with Kids,' and 'This is 40.' She is widely considered as a modern female sex symbol and has appeared in several publications such as FHM and Maxim.

However, the actress revealed that she is ready to reject any future sexy roles. Fox has said that she would never appear in any racy scene again after announcing her third pregnancy with husband Brian Austin Green.

"There are just certain things boys should never see their mothers do... I was offered a project that's coming out on HBO that centers around the life of a prostitute. It has very graphic sex scenes - things you would see in a pornographic film... I don't think my boys could handle that," she said.

Fox is set to return as April O'Neil in the upcoming 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows' directed by Dave Green. The film is scheduled to be released on June 3, 2016. She also starred in 'New Girl' for five episodes as the character Reagan Lucas.
