As if he isn't busy enough, Affleck is also rumored to be working to direct, write and star in a planned standalone film for his caped crusader. According to Cosmic Book News, the 43-year old Hollywood star is set to help in rewriting the script for 'Justice League', which is currently being filmed in the UK.
Snyder's film commenced principal photography for Part One on April 2016. Filming will take cast and crew around various locations in England, Scotland and Iceland.
Although Snyder's preceding film 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' was panned by critics, fans are hoping that Affleck's credentials will win out for the new installments for the DC extended universe.
Affleck has gained critical acclaim for his past directorial work and script writing prowess. The 44-year old actor and filmmaker won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for 'Good Will Hunting' with his good friend Matt Damon. He also won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay as well as another one for Best Picture for his work on 'Argo'.
'Justice League Part One' is an upcoming action-adventure and fantasy film directed by Zack Snyder and written for the big screen by Chris Terrio. It features an ensemble cast including Affleck, Cavill, Gadot, Jason Momoa, Amy Adams, Amber Heard, Ezra Miller, Jeremy Irons, Willem Dafoe, J.K. Simmons and Ray Fisher.
Part One is the first in a two-part installment intended as another addition to DC's extended universe of films based on the original comic books. It is currently the DCEU's fifth installment following 2013's 'Man of Steel', 2016's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', 2016's 'Suicide Squad' and 2017's 'Wonder Woman'. It is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2017.
