The 50th game of the ninth edition of Indian Premier League will be played between Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Murali Vijay's Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Wednesday.

RCB's home ground M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in southern Indian city of Bangalore will host the twenty over the match.

RCB, who can still make to play-offs, are on the fifth spot in the eight-team IPL 2016 standings with six wins out of 12 matches. The Bollywood actress Preity Zinta-owned Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand, are out of contention for a play-off berth. The Punjab-based outfit has won just four games out of 12.
