Reeling side Liaoning Whowin FC (1-3-5, 8 points) will try to get out of their current rut as they clash with defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao FC (8-1-0, 24 points) at the West Stadium on Saturday, May 21 in a 2016 Chinese Super League season match.
Liaoning Whowin has been on an eight-game winless slide after winning their season opener against lowly team Shijiazhuang Ever Bright FC in March. They are currently in the bottom two relegation zone as only cellar dwellers Changchun Yatai has a worse record.

In their most recent match of the term, the Northeast Tigers were held to a goalless draw by fellow reeling squad Hangzhou Greentown FC last Sunday, as per Soccerway.
It was the second consecutive drawn match for head coach Ma Lin's boys and their fifth of the season. They are tied on points with Hangzhou and struggling contenders Shandong Luneng Taishan FC in the current league table, but their inferior goal difference of -6 made them drop to the 15th spot.
Meanwhile, Guangzhou Evergrande continues to flex its muscles over its China top flight competitors as the club won its eighth straight assignment after falling to Chongqing Lifan in the season opener.
The Southern China Tigers are coming off a 2-0 blanking of newly-promoted side Hebei China Fortune FC at their home field of Tianhe Stadium last Saturday, Cri English reported.
Midfielder Yu Hanchao scored the first goal of the contest for World Cup-winning manager Luiz Felipe Scolari's side at the 44th minute. The team then doubled their lead three minutes after the restart with a goal from Brazilian import Alan Carvalho off an assist by resident striker Gao Lin.
With the win, Guangzhou remains at the top spot of the league table three points ahead of second-placed squad Jiangsu Suning FC.
The predicted result is a 3-0 rout for Guangzhou Evergrande.
Liaoning Whowin starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Shi; Wang, Yang, Lukimya, Zheng; Kim, Thwaite, Sun, Hu; Troisi, Chamanga
