The 54th game of the ninth edition of Indian Premier League will be played between Suresh Raina's Gujarat Lions and Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians on Saturday at Kanpur's Green Park Stadium.

The Rajkot-based Lions, who are on the second spot of the eight team IPL 2016 standing with eight wins out of thirteen games, will aim to confirm their place in play-offs when they take on fifth placed Mumbai Indians.

The Nita Ambani-owned MI, on the other hand, needs to win Saturday's game in order to stay in contention for a play-off berth. The two time champions have won seven out of the thirteen IPL 2016 matches they have played.
