With the expectation that the political drama series, "House of Cards," will be back on Netflix with its fifth season next year, rumors about the plot of "House of Cards" Season 5 is leading to Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) winning the presidential race against his husband, Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey).

Rumors suggest that Claire may not be contended with her current position as the vice president of her husband. With that said, she may have a plan to secure the presidency in "House of Cards" Season 5, Christian Times reported. According to the same publication, the fifth installment is going to show Claire's hunger for power, and is expected to go all out in the battle for presidency.

It is said that Claire will find a way to kick Frank from his position, and that the vice president may go to impeaching his husband, down to eliminating him if necessary. A Reddit user, Santidreet, also predicted that "House of Cards" Season 5 will show Frank's death. Santidreet cited that the previous season has shown Frank to be having a problem with his health, and that this could lead him to his grave. Another theory that was posted on the same site also said that Frank might resign, giving the presidency to his wife.

Meanwhile, series' creator Beau Willimon was reported to be departing the series. It is said that the reason behind Willimon's departure is not because he has a problem with the network, but due to his plans to venture on other opportunities such as writing on an original play.
