The New York Knicks are eyeing Chicago Bulls' Joakim Noah in the upcoming free-agency period as the energetic center is allegedly "done" with his current team, recent NBA rumors say.

One team who are speculated to have a keen attraction on the 2014 NBA Defensive Player of the Year awardee are the Knicks with team president Phil Jackson reportedly planning to "make a run at him" in the offseason.

Noah had been one of the key players in Chicago since they drafted him ninth overall in 2007. The report said that "his defensive consistency, unbridled intensity, and outspoken nature helped define the organization, and restore it to postseason prominence" as he helped lead the Bulls to eight straight postseason wars from 2008 to 2015.

This season, though, Noah failed to do that for the first time in his career and indications are emerging that it could also be his final year in Chicago.

Noah is set to become an unrestricted free agent this July after concluding his five-year, $60 million contract with the Bulls and he gave signs of an impending departure.

Allegedly, the former Florida Gator told one of his teammates that he is "done" with the Bulls as he "has no trust in the front office getting this in the right direction", according to the said unnamed teammate, as per the Chicago Sun-Times.

The player also said that Noah's falling out has nothing to do with head coach Fred Hoiberg and the two's early beef this season, but it is more of a trust issue against general manager Gar Forman.

Noah is also coming off one of the worst seasons of his nine-year career as he averaged 4.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks in 21.9 minutes of playing time per night, which are the lowest since his rookie and sophomore years. His 4.3 ppg is the lowest by far in his career.
