Justin Bieber has recently been arrested for crashing an ATV into a paparazzi van, which ultimately led to assault and dangerous driving charges. Bieber is currently in the crosshairs of L.A. County Probation Department for the possibility of these new charges being a violation of his current L.A. County probation.

Once again, the pop star is faced with more jail time, and some new speculations say that he might end up serving it this time.

The story is, Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez were riding ATVs on a patch of land, while TMZ film crew started to capture the would be fun moment in photos and video.

New sources say, shortly after Bieber has some disgruntled words with paparazzi. He then became hostile with the four-wheeler - taunting paparazzi as if he were going to hit them with the ATV.

Bieber then lost control, running his large ATV right into the paparazzo's mini-van, nearly missing members of the camera and film team.

Despite this serious incident, the biggest problem does not stem from this recent Canadian arrest. The real issue comes from his current Los Angeles Probation.

Justin Bieber recently got two years probation for vandalizing a neighbor's house with eggs. The total cost of the vandalism was reported to be over $20k, according to the police and neighbor.

The stipulations for his current probation mandate that he is not to break ANY law of ANY kind.

Officials say that there is now an ongoing investigation to see if Bieber's recent Canadian charges will actually trigger a violation in the stipulations behind his current L.A. probation.

The decision to violate Bieber's probation is solely up to the Los Angeles law enforcement. Both L.A. and Canadian law enforcement have been conversing back and forth, getting the exact details of the incident, to see if this does indeed mean jail time for the young pop star.

Officials say upon having these conversations with Canadian authorities, new key-facts of the story could very well be a violation - which could land the singer behind bars for some time.
