Chinese smartphone maker Alcatel has announced that its upcoming device called the Idol 4 Pro has received Wi-Fi certification. Alcatel Idol 4 Pro smartphone is the latest flagship device from the company, and it is powered by the Windows 10 mobile operating system.

Earlier this week, Alcatel's upcoming device received Wi-Fi certification, which could mean that this device will be release in the market soon. However, there are rumors that this device might not be available to everyone since the Wi-Fi certification was exclusively for T-Mobile only.

The Alcatel Idol 4 Pro smartphone features a massive 6-inch (1920 × 1080 resolutions) AMOLED display screen. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM onboard. It comes with a large built-in 64GB internal memory storage. However, no information is available yet on whether there will be a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

In terms of the camera, the Idol 4 Pro smartphone features a powerful 21-megapixel (5344 x 4008) main camera and an 8-megapixel (3104 x 3104) front camera for selfies. What makes these cameras interesting is that the main camera can record a video resolution of up to 4096 x 2160, and 1920 x 1080 video resolutions for the front shooter.

The Alcatel Idol 4 Pro smartphone is powered by Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 10 mobile. For users who love portable mobile gaming, Qualcomm's Adreno 530 GPU is suited to handle smooth 3D gaming experience on the go.

Other feature the device has offers include an accelerometer, compass, light sensor, and gyroscope. Apart from this, no other details about the upcoming Alcatel Idol 4 Pro have been revealed.
