Final Fantasy XII Remake Announced for Playstation 4 [VIDEO]

(Photo : Facebook/Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age) Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age for PlayStation 4. It is due out worldwide in 2017.

A re-mastered version of Final Fantasy XII is coming to PlayStation 4 in 2017 with hardware improvements and will be called Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.

 Originally released for the PlayStation 2 console in 2006, in which several innovations of the series was introduced like the AI system and "license" system, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will still integrate the same features with graphic upgrades on character models, video cut-scenes, scenery, revamped job system, and rebuilt the battle designs.

The FFXII remake will also allow players to switch between the original soundtrack and the re-recorded ones and also gives them the option to choose between Japanese voice dub and English voice dub.The game will be based on the International Edition version that was released on the Playstation 2 game console in 2007.

The company made the announcement ahead of the E3 convention in Los Angeles from June 14 to June 16, without any dedicated presentation. Square Enix is also expected to announce details on other games like Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts III, and Dragon Quest Builders at the gaming convention.

The PS4 remake of the game will also have faster loading times because of its upgraded hardware capabilities and will also include an auto-save feature.

"Besides revamped character models and cutscenes, the game will feature auto-save, shorter load times, and an improved turbo mode," reads Kotaku's translation of the Famitsu website.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be released in Japan in 2017. Square Enix North America also confirmed that the western release of the game will also take place next year.
