Xbox One Backward Compatibility Video Game List Updated: Five New Titles Added

Microsoft is once again updating the growing number of video game titles that will be playable on its Xbox One console through the Backward Compatibility update. 

This time, the tech giant announced that it's releasing five new titles: Burnout Revenge, Dragon Age II, Fable Anniversary, Fight Night Round 4, and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

Burnout Revenge is a title that will surely appeal to fans of the racing genre. The game, developed by Criterion Games, it focuses on car combat in the middle of rush hour traffic and allows players to use their cars as weapons to wreak havoc. The game, the fourth installment in the Burnout series, was released in 2005 with Electronic Arts as its publisher.

Dragon Age II is an action role-playing title developed by notable gaming studio BioWare and was published by Electronic Arts in 2011. It is the second title in the widely popular Dragon Age video game franchise. The game combines magic and combat in a world plunged into a social and political turmoil.

Fable Anniversary, which is a re-mastered version of Fable: The Lost Chapters, features improved graphics, a newly instituted save system, and the new Achievements feature. The game, just like its predecessors, was developed by Lionhead Studios and was released for the Xbox 360 in 2013.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is another racing title from the highly critical and genre-defining Need for Speed franchise. The game was initially released in 2010 for the PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360 as well as the PC. Since then the game has successfully crossed into the mobile platform and made waves on the Android and Windows Phone operating systems.

Fight Night Round 4 is a video game belonging to the boxing genre developed by EA Sports. The game, launched in 2009 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows Mobile and BlackBerry, features late boxing legend Muhammad Ali on its cover.
