Country singer-songwriter Josh Turner sure does have his hands full with a brand new addition to his family. The 36-year-old star has just welcomed his fourth child, Samuel Hawke, into the world this past Thursday.

"God has truly blessed Jennifer and me with this healthy little boy," Turner mentioned in a public statement. "We are so thankful and excited to see our family grow, yet again."

The little Samuel Hawke weighs a total of 8 lbs., 6 oz. and measures 20 ½ inches.

Turner and his wife, Jennifer, had publicly announced the news of Jennifer's pregnancy in May, teasing fans that they already had possible names lined up. Apparently, they were not alone in thinking of new baby name suggestions; their three other children had their own opinions on what the next Turner child should be called.

"[The boys have] been throwing out some name suggestions," Turner added in an interview he had with People this past May. "My second son, Colby, suggested Backwoods Boy, but I don't think we're going to go with it."

The couple's other children --Marion, Colby, and Hampton-- are already ages 3, 5, and 7 (though Hampton will be celebrating his 8^th birthday in October).

Much to the delight of his fans, Turner also kept his sense of humor alive when discussing their having a fourth child in the family--especially when it comes to living at home.

"We'll have an even smaller house this fall!" Turner had joked to People.

"There was this one day a while ago where our three boys were literally driving us crazy. We were ready to pull our hair out, and Jennifer was about to scream.

 "I look at her and said, 'Hey, remember everyone always told us that three was the hardest number? We're either having another one or we're going to give this one away!'"

Yet despite his teasing, Turner is excited to embrace fatherhood again with the latest addition to the Turner family.
