A second member of South Korea's girl pop group Ladies' Code has died.
RiSe, 23, has been in critical condition since the group figured in a vehicular accident on September 3 that instantly claimed the life of fellow member EunB, and injured other Ladies' Code members.
Polaris Entertainment, the managing company of Ladies' Code, has released a statement saying that RiSe or Kwon Ri Sae passed away at 10:10AM Korean Standard Time today, September 7, 2014.

After the road accident, RiSe has been in a coma for several days. According to previous reports, the young female idol has suffered from a head injury which caused her brain to swell and her blood pressure to plummet. This prompted doctors to delay her surgery.
Reports said RiSe's breathing had stopped at least three times and attending physicians said it was a miracle that she remained alive, until today. Doctors who performed an opearation to try to save the young singer were said to have been unsure about her chances of surviving.
RiSe's parents, who are currently residing in Japan, immediately flew to Korea after hearing of the accident. They, along with the staff that worked with the girl group, stayed with her until the end.
After releasing the sad news that EunB passed away last September 3, Polaris Entertainment found it difficult to announce the death of yet another member of Ladies' Code.
Another member, Sojung, was also in critical condition following the accident but has regained consciousness and has been told of EunB's death.
RiSe was a sub-vocalist for Ladies' Code.
