Middling teams Tianjin Teda FC (4-2-5, 17 points) and Yanbian Funde FC (3-5-3, 12 points) are scheduled to meet in a 2016 Chinese Super League game at the Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium on June 11, Saturday.

Tianjin Teda is on a five-game unbeaten run as they climbed to the seventh spot of the current league table, tied on points with sixth-placed team Shanghai Greenland Shenhua but has a lesser goal difference. They are also only five points behind third-placed squad Jiangsu Suning, who currently holds the third and final AFC Champions League qualifying berth.

In the previous round, the Tianjin Tigers were held to a 2-2 draw by Shanghai Shenhua in a match held at the Hongkou Stadium on May 27, as per Soccerway.

Brazilian winger Wagner scored the opening goal at the 25th minute of the match for manager Dragan Okuka's side before Shanghai forward Demba Ba knotted it at the 35th as both teams reached halftime tied at 1-1.

Tianjin grabbed the lead once again with a goal from Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne at the 52nd minute in the second half, but South Korean defender Kim Kee-Hee found the equalizer at the 69th to force a share of a point in the standings.

Meanwhile, Yanbian Funde routed cellar dwellers Liaoning Whowin, 4-1, at the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium on May 28, via Sofa Score.

Gambian winger Bubacarr Trawally scored a brace at the 28th and 66th minutes to lead manager Park Tae-ha's boys in the match. South Korean midfielder Yoon Bit-garam opened the scoring at the 12th while his compatriot, Kim Seung-dae, completed the team's four-goal haul at the 79th.

Liaoning's Zambian forward James Chamanga netted a consolation goal at the 53rd with a penalty kick.

It was the third win of the season for the newly-promoted side as they are currently settled at the ninth spot of the China top flight table.

The predicted result is a touch 2-1 decision for Tianjin Teda.
