The eighteenth game of the ongoing South American football tournament will be played between Group A leader Colombia and Costa Rica at the NRG Stadium in Houston on Saturday night while hosts USA face Paraguay at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Colombia booked a quarterfinal spot in the competition following their 2-1 win over Paraguay at the Pasadena Rose Bowl Stadium on Tuesday night. Carlos Bacca and James Rodriguez got on the score sheet for Columbia while Ayala scored the one goal for Parguay. Columbia now leads Group A with six points.

Colombian coach Jose Pekerman was full of praise for Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez. "With (Rodriguez) being such a great star with so much transcendence and desire, we had to be very prudent, but we never wrote him off. Not until this morning did we realize he was well and he could play. We're lucky he recuperated quite well," Pekerman said.

Los Ticos, on the other hand, have virtually been knocked out of the tournament with back-to-back losses in their first two Copa America Centenario group stage matches.
