Uruguay and Jamaica will go head to head at Levi' Stadium in Santa Clara, CA on Monday night in the 22nd game of Copa America Centenario 2016 South American football championship. Mexico faces Venezuela in another Group C match at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX on Monday.

Jamaica, which had lost their opening game to Venezuela 1-0, was knocked out of Copa America Centenario 2016 after suffering a 2-0 defeat against Mexico on Thursday.

"It's a tough loss of a game I believe we dominated at times but we failed to take our chances," Jamaica's assistant coach Miguel Coley said, reported AFP.

After losing to Venezuela, the 15-time Copa America Champions Uruguay made a humiliating exit from the South American championships. Venezuela advanced to quarterfinals after defeating Uruguay in a group stage match on Thursday.

"We never found the game we wanted and that cost us. It's been a very different Copa America. I've never experienced something like this before," disappointed Uruguayan coach Oscar Tabarez said after the shock defeat against Venezuela. "We knew it was going to be difficult but this should be a wake-up call before the World Cup qualifiers," Tabarez added.
