Defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao FC (9-1-2, 29 points) will try to snap a two-game winless skid against contending team Tianjin Teda FC (5-2-5, 20 points) at the Tianhe Stadium on Tuesday in a 2016 Chinese Super League season game.

The Southern China Tigers, winners of the last five China top flight trophies, is still on top of the league table even after succumbing to back-to-back draws in the last two rounds of competitions. Their current slide put to a halt a nine-game winning run after their season opener loss back in March.
