After Zou Shiming's successful United States debut, seasoned trainer and boxing Hall of Famer Freddie Roach has said that he wants the Chinese boxing sensation to fight the Mexican reigning WBA and WBO flyweight titleholder Juan Francisco Estrada.

The former two-time Olympic light flyweight gold medalist took home a 10-round unanimous decision victory over Jozsef Atjai of Hungary in an undercard bout at Madison Square Garden in New York recently. All the three judges of the match scored it 100-89 in favor of the Chinese boxing icon.

Zou, 35, has a professional boxing record of 8 wins, 1 loss with 2 of his victories came by a way of knockouts. His victory would set up the opportunity for bigger flyweight bouts down the line.

"The win should be celebrated, but it doesn't meet the target I set in my heart," Zou said. "This was my first fight in the US, and it gave me a chance to fight for the golden belt in a match at the end of this year, which is absolutely the most important for me."

According to Boxingscene.com, the 53-year-old Roach said Zou will likely next challenge WBA and WBO flyweight champion Juan Francisco Estrada of Mexico.

Estrada, 26, has an impressive professional boxing record of 33 wins, 2 losses with 24 fights won by a way of knockouts.

The Mexican has successfully defended his world title belts on five different occasions and has won all of his seven fights since claiming the titles. Estrada last fought in September last year, scoring a sensational 10th victory stoppage against his compatriot Hernan Marquez.
