The new smartphone is an addition to the current five members of the LG "K" flagship series.
The device features a 4.5-inch IPS display screen that supports 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The handheld device is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor (SD210 SoC) processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It comes with built-in 8GB internal memory storage (up to 3.10 GB usable), which can be expanded via a microSD card.
On the battery side, the K3 is packed with a 1,940mAh capacity battery, strong enough to power a device for a day. In terms of camera, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel main shooter and a VGA front shooter for selfies.
As for software, the device runs on the latest Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box.
For those interested in buying the LG K3, please bear in mind that this does not set out to conquer, like Samsung Galaxy S7 and HTC 10; rather, it offers a budget-friendly device.
The device is available starting today via Boost and Virgin Mobile's online stores for only $80.
