Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi will unveil a new phablet device dubbed Mi Note 2 Edge. This information was confirmed by Jin Lin, Xiaomi's CEO.

Xiaomi has also revealed that this latest device will be available in two models - the standard variant and the Pro variant. The standard version is said to feature a Snapdragon 820 processor paired with a 4GB of RAM. It comes with built-in 32GB internal memory storage, which is similar to other 2016 flagships.
On other hand, the Pro version is said to feature a Snapdragon 821 processor, which is much faster than the 820 processor. What makes this model especially interesting is its massive 6GB of RAM and huge built-in 256GB of internal memory.
Rumors suggest that the Mi Note 2 Edge phablet is going to feature a dual-camera system similar to the one on the Huawei P9 and the LG G5. In addition, the device might also feature a curved edge display similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge.
However, this information is just hearsay, and there has not yet been an official confirmation by Xiaomi.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also said to be unveiling its latest Notebook laptop next month, featuring a huge 12.5-inch display screen. This Notebook laptop is said to be ultra-thin and will compete with Apple's MacBook computers.
