Rumours suggest that a Kirin 955 chipset will be powering it. Honor 8 will have a 5.2-inch full high-definition screen display or better with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will also feature a 4 GB of RAM and a 3200 mAh battery that will be supported with fast charging.

It will come with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie lovers and a 12-megapixel dual camera setup at the back of the smartphone. It will sport a dual-glass design in a metallic chassis with very thin bezels, according to rumours.
Honor 8 will have four versions. The first option has a price tag of 1999 yuan ($305) and offers 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage with no NFC features at all. The second version sells for 199 yuan ($332) and has 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage with the support of all networks.
The third options is 2499 yuan ($377) for 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The final option is 2799 yuan ($423) for 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage with a 2K display feature.
Honor 8 is said to be a scaled-down edition of the already launched Huawei Honor V8, which has a 5.7-inch quad high-definition display with a larger resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Honor V8 comes with a smaller Kirin 950 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, USB Type C, a fingerprint scanner, and an infrared port as well as a 3,200 mAh battery that supports quick charging.
