After a depressing loss on Saturday against the Canadians, the Chinese men's national volleyball team bounced back as they demolished South Korea with a 3-1 (18-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-23) scoreline at the ongoing 27th edition of FIVB Volleyball World League in Saskatoon, Canada, on Sunday.

"It was a very difficult game for us. Everybody contributed to this win. I am extremely satisfied with their spirit and strong will to win this match," China's Coach Yang Liqun said after the match.
China's Qingyao Dai led the three-time Asian Games champion team with 16 points (15 spikes and 1 block) while Jae-Duck Seo also had 16 points (14 spikes and 2 serves) for the Korean side, who suffered their third-straight loss at the SaskTel Centre.
The Chinese team trailed early in the match after the Koreans took the first set to establish a 1-0 lead. However, with game adjustments made by the Chinese side, they were able to rebound in the second set and rode on with the momentum as they won all the succeeding sets to seal the victory.
"It was a very tough game for us. The Korean team has their way of playing - the first set they put much pressure on us, but the coach changed the lineup and told us exactly how to respond to their attack," China's Team Captain Shaui Jiao said.
With the victory, the world's 19th ranked Chinese spikers improve to a 2-4 win-loss record while garnering seven match points. The Chinese national squad currently sits on the 10th place of the 12-squad Group 2 team standings.
China will be hosting the national teams of Turkey, Japan and Slovakia for the Pool H2 in Week 3 of the tournament. The games will be held at the Xuangcheng Sports Center in the city of Xuangcheng, Anhui Province from July 1 to July 3.
