Shaanxi Xinda Tops Guang Xi Weizhung, Remains Unbeaten in the 13th Round of the Chinese National Basketball League

Shaanxi Xinda maintained their tournament supremacy after posting a 99-90 victory at the expense of the league's seventh-ranked Guang Xi Weizhuang.

It was the Wolves 13th win in a row, and their 13-0 record is the team's best start to a season. Guang Xi on the other hand suffered their sixth loss in 13 games, dropping them into a four-team tie with Luoyang, Henan, and Hebei.

American power-forward Tyler Wilkerson lived up to expectations as he once again lifted the league's No. 1 team to another victory and led all scorers with another outstanding double-double of 34 points and 19 rebounds to go along with 7 assists and a steal for the victors.

Domestic players XiaoHang Yu and Xiang Liqing contributed with 15 points and 13 points, respectively. Shengyue Sun and JianJun Qi chipped in with 9 points apiece for the Shaanxi side.

The Wolves ended the first half of the game with a slim 44-40 lead. In the third quarter, Shaanxi, which outrebounded Guang Xi 43-34, was still able to dictate the tempo, as they got the better of the opposing team with a 30-26 run, entering the final quarter with a 74-66 advantage.

Guang Xi tried to make a last-ditch effort in fourth quarter of the match, but it proved too late, as Shaanxi  managed to limit their point production to just 24, while the winner scored 25 points.

American swingman Darrington Hobson paced Guang Xi with game-high 36 points and 13 rebounds, with local players YongGang Zhao and Kai Wen Jao adding 19 and 16 points respectively.
