OnePlus red variant was briefly seen on the company's official website before being pulled down, but it may be launched soon. This may be a secret new version that the company is working on.

The photo was accidentally posted on the official website listing.

OnePlus 3 was launched in April with huge upgrades in its design and specifications. The company already launched the OnePlus 3 graphite color variant, and it is available on Amazon India exclusively, with the price tag of Rs. 27,999 ($413) and without the invite system.

The soft gold color variant will be available to the market before the end of July, co-founder Carl Pei confirmed via Twitter.

The Malignant, a user on Twitter, took a screenshot of the listing to reveal the look of the OnePlus 3 in its red color variant with a rather bold and unique style which is not seen on many flagship devices. This variant would provide an additional option to the already available graphite and the upcoming soft gold.

OnePlus 3 is a dual-SIM smartphone with a 5.5-inch display. It has a 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB of built-in internal storage. It features a 16-megapixel camera at the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner at the front and a 3000 mAh non-removable battery with Dash Charge support. An Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Oxygen operating system runs it, and a Snapdragon 820 SoC processor powers it.
