Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has announced that its latest device - the Huawei Honor 5C - is now available on the online retailing websites, Flipkart, and Honor store. The Honor 5C smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,999 (around $163.7 / 1087.35 Yuan) and it will be available in Grey, Silver, and Gold color.

At the launch of the device, P Sanjeev, vice president of sales of Huawei India, said that the company is hoping for a huge response from customers.

The Huawei Honor 5C smartphone features a 5.2-inch full-HD IPS LCD. The device is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 650 octa-core processor (clocked at 4xCortex A53 at 1.7GHz and 2GHz). The processing unit is paired with 2 GB of RAM onboard and a Mali-T830 GPU.

It has a built-in 16 GB internal memory storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card. The device is powered by a 3000mAh capacity battery and runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box along with an Emotion UI 4.1 interface.

The Honor 5C smartphone sports a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash support, coupled with an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture lens. The device also has a fingerprint scanner technology on its back panel.

The device features an LTE Cat 6, which Huawei claims can provide a download speed up to 300Mbps and upload speed up to 50Mbps.

The connectivity options of the device include 4G Network, GPS/A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The Honor 5C also comes with a regular Micro-USB charging slot, dual-sim supports for Micro-SIM cards, and a stereo speaker at the bottom of the smartphone.

It measures a body dimension of 147.1 × 73.8 × 8.3mm and weighs 156 grams.
