From there, Jiangsu Suning began with the their pressing attack headed by former Chelsea midfielder Ramires, Ex-Manchester City striker Jô, and former Shakhtar Donetsk winger Alex Teixeira.

Ramires doubled the lead at the 25th minute as he found the back of Xiaotian's net off a brilliant cross from Teixeira.

The Northeast Tigers are not folding up that easily as they also have their import scoring tandem of Zambian James Chamanga and Australian newcomer Dario Vidosic, who was just signed by Liaoning last week.

Whowin was able to cut the lead to 2-1 at the 30th with an individual goal from local forward Zhang Ye, but Jô responded immediately after only six minutes to keep their two-point spread, 3-1.

Vidosic's compatriot Michael Thwaite scored with only a minute left before the halftime break to once again cut the lead to 3-2, as per Football Australia.

Head coach Ma Lin's side found the equalizer one minute after the restart as Chamanga was able to convert a pass from teammate Yang Yu to shoot past Jiangsu goalie Gu Chao.

After 24 minutes of back-and-forth action, Jiangsu midfielder Ji Xiang finally scored the winning goal at the 70th as both teams went scoreless from then on, finishing the seven-goal thriller.

With the win, Jiangsu extended their home unbeaten streak to eleven games, a run that began since October of last year, Sofa Score reported.

Head coach Choi Yong-soo's boys have also overtaken reeling contenders Hebei China Fortune, who had just lost two consecutive games, for the second spot in the current China top flight table after their bounce back performance from the previous round.

Meanwhile, the loss snapped Liaoning's three-game winning run as they currently settle for 11th place in the overall standings, four points above the bottom two relegation zone.
