TCL 560 Smartphone Launched in India for $118 Featuring Iris Scanner

Chinese smartphone maker TCL has announced that its latest device - the TCL 560 - is now available in India for the price of Rs. 7,999 (approximately $118.47 / 792.51 Yuan). The smartphone features the company's latest Iris Scanner technology on the front-facing camera intended for unlocking the device.

The TCL 560 smartphone was launched at an event in New Delhi, PhoneRadar reported. The latest Iris scanner technology equipped on the device would automatically unlock the phone by just scanning the user's eyes.
The TCL 560 smartphone features a 5.5-inch display with a pixels resolution of 1280 x 720 and comes with a pixel density of 320PPI. The device is powered by a 32-bit Quad-core snapdragon 210 processor clocked at a speed of 1.1 GHz. It comes with a 2GB of RAM onboard and backed by a 2,500 mAh capacity battery inside.
The TCL 560 runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It comes with a built-in 16GB internal memory storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.
The TCL 560 sports an 8-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. A speaker can also found at the back of the device. As mentioned earlier, it comes with an Iris Scanner technology, which the company calls the "EyeVerify."
