Chinese smartphone manufacturer Bluboo released its Maya series of smartphones this year to much fanfare. So far, the company has released only two devices under that brand; the vanilla Bluboo Maya and the Bluboo Maya Max. In a statement, Bluboo said that the Bluboo Maya Premium would be the last device to be released under the Maya brand.

The Bluboo Maya brand made waves in the tech community due to its unique combination of high-end specs with entry-level pricing. In fact, following the release of the Maya brand, Bluboo's market share has significantly increased.

Regarding the last of the Maya brand, Bluboo confirmed that it would be a premium-grade smartphone in terms of hardware specs. At the heart of the Bluboo Maya Premium is the Helio P10 octa-core processor from MediaTek, according to Giz China. The Maya brand is well known for its camera specs, and the Bluboo Maya Premium is not an exception with its Sony IMX298 sensor.

The Bluboo Maya Premium will be the first smartphone to feature the Helio P10 processor and the Sony IMX298 sensor. Many analysts agree that this would be the main selling point of the device.

A massive 4200mAh battery pack would power the device. Adding a more premium touch to the Maya Premium is its unibody design built from aerospace-class aluminum, according to Android Headlines.

The official price and release date of the Bluboo Maya Premium are yet to be confirmed.
